Fortis appoints Vivek Kumar Goyal as Chief Financial Officer

The Fortis board has approved his appointment as Chief Financial Officer. Vivek Kumar Goyal will be responsible for driving the entire gamut of the Finance function at Fortis and support value creation for the Organisation.

Gurgaon: India's second-largest hospital chain, Fortis Healthcare Limited (Fortis) recently said it has appointed Vivek Kumar Goyal as its Chief Financial Officer. The effective date of appointment shall be on or before May 1, 2019.

The Fortis board has approved his appointment as Chief Financial Officer. "Vivek will be responsible for driving the entire gamut of the Finance function at Fortis and support value creation for the Organisation," it added.

Prior to joining Fortis, Vivek was the Chief Finance Officer with the Tata Housing and Development Company since April 2015. He has previously worked with Ballarpur Industries Limited, Saw Pipes Limited and Indo Asian Fusegear Limited.

Vivek is a professional with over 25 years of experience in Finance. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds an LLB Degree from the University of Delhi.
