ECL Finance sells shares worth Rs 210 crore in Fortis Healthcare

New Delhi: Financial services firm ECL Finance sold 1.49 crore shares in Fortis Healthcare for Rs 210 crore through open market transactions.


ECL Finance disposed of 1.19 crore shares of Fortis Healthcare on NSE and 30.15 lakh shares on BSE, the bulk deal data available on the two exchanges showed.



On NSE, the shares were offloaded at an average price of Rs 141.07, valuing the transaction at Rs 167.67 crore.

The shares were sold at a price of Rs 141.69 apiece on BSE, translating into a transaction of Rs 42.72 crore.


Among the buyers of the shares of Fortis Healthcare was Societe Generale, which purchased 48.28 lakh scrips on NSE and 28.36 lakh on BSE.
