Suven Life Sciences provide financial assistance of Rs 70 lakh to Bharosa
Suven Life Sciences has also agreed to provide contribute yearly maintenance cost of Rs 30 lakh over the next five years for the centre.
Hyderabad: As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR), Suven Life Sciences has donated an amount of Rs 70 lakh to 'Bharosa', a support centre for women and children, to enable it to construct SHE-Bharosa centre in Suryapet district. According to recent media reports, it has also agreed to provide contribute yearly maintenance cost of Rs 30 lakh over the next five years for the centre.
Bharosa, the Hyderabad police’s support centre for women and children, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Suven Life Sciences.

The memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed in the presence of Director-General of Police, M Mahendar Reddy, Suven Trust Managing Trustee Venkat Jasti, Additional Director-General of Police Jitender, Inspector General of Police (Law & Order) and In-Charge (Women Safety) Swati Lakra and other officials.
The MoA’s objective was to financially support SHE-Bharosa centre by funding it for next five years and to strengthen and popularize women and child protection initiatives. Another objective was to sensitize women and children about safety and security as well as support services available during crisis, reports Telangana Today.
SHE Teams was introduced in the state in 2014 with a motto to provide safety and security to women and to curb crimes against women. Bharosa is an integrated support centre for women and children that was established by the city police in 2016. The centre helps resolve conflicts in families and provides services related to police, medical, legal and psycho-therapeutic counselling.
