Hyderabad: Samsung India on Saturday introduced its Smart Healthcare programme that provides affordable and quality healthcare to patients from the economically and socially weaker sections of society at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.

As part of its Smart Healthcare programme, Samsung will be providing advanced and innovative healthcare equipment such as ultrasound and digital radiology (x-ray) manufactured by the company free to specified government hospitals across the country.

The Samsung Smart Healthcare facility was inaugurated by C. Laxma Reddy, Minister for Health, Government of Telangana and Deepak Bhardwaj, Vice President, Samsung India, in the presence of other dignitaries.

"We are pleased to collaborate with Samsung India for this programme. We are committed to offer affordable healthcare facilities for the people of Telangana and welcome the support from Samsung India in helping hospitals cater to the community's needs for quality healthcare," said Reddy.

We are pleased to partner with the government of Telangana to offer healthcare solutions with the effective use of technology.
