New Delhi : Healthcare platform Practo has partnered Twitter to allow netizens in India, the Philippines and Singapore get queries related to healthcare answered on the microblogging platform.

Using the service, which goes live tomorrow, Twitter users can get their healthcare queries answered in real time via the @AskPracto handle, Practo founder and CEO Shashank ND told .

The responses will be from verified doctors and experts on the Practo Consult platform, he added.

Practo Consult is available on both Android and iOS smartphones, web and now on Twitter as well.

The Practo Consult platform enables consumers to connect with verified, high quality doctors and get quick, free and authentic answers to their health questions.

Nearly 2 lakh doctors are already registered on Practo. Consumers from 100 cities are already using Practo Consult.

"The integration goes live in three markets India, the Philippines and Singapore and will be available in English. We will soon expand to cover more countries and languages," he said.

The ease of access and simplicity will be disruptive in how people access healthcare information, Shashank added.

"Twitter's real-time, public and conversational capabilities help people connect with things that matter, big and small. Our customer service partnerships are designed to improve user experience and access to daily utility such as real-time train schedules, pollution data, and customer care from brands," Twitter Head of Business Development India and South Asia Ravichandran Bhaskaran said.

The partnership with Practo addresses a fundamental need for users and opens up the benefit of real-time healthcare information access to millions of users in India, Singapore, and the Philippines, Bhaskaran added.
