New Delhi : World's leading healthcare platform Practo and Ola, India's most popular app for mobile transportation have partnered to provide seamless and stress free healthcare experience for their customers.

With Ola's integration on the Practo app, millions of consumers across India will now be able to book an Ola cab Micro, Mini, Prime or Lux, ahead of their doctor's appointments, directly from the Practo app.

Additionally, Practo users will also get a reminder an hour prior to the scheduled appointment, allowing them to make use of Ola's 'Ride Later' feature to book a ride in advance. If the customers chose to book via 'Ride Now' feature, other than seeing the nearest available cabs, they will also get the details of estimated fare and the expected time of Arrival (ETA) for the cab. Once the trip starts, the user's final destination will be auto-filled on the driver's app, ensuring peace of mind for consumers.

"This partnership with Practo is another step towards fulfilling our mission of building mobility for a billion Indians. We are looking at a number of solutions to provide an integrated mobility experience to our customers and this is one such example. By associating with like minded companies that understand the market like we do, we are confident that customers will stand to benefit the most," said COO at Ola, Pranay Jivrajka.

ETAs as low as 4 minutes and maximum availability across categories on the Ola app, enhances the value proposition for Practo users by enabling access to the best of medical practitioners in the city.

"We want to provide the most seamless healthcare experience to consumers. As we continue our expansion to 100 cities and towns in India, our partnership with Ola will help millions of consumers in urban centers as well as in tier II/III towns to seamlessly commute for their doctor's appointments and avoid the added stress of driving through traffic, find parking spots etc," said VP Marketing and Head of Monetization Practo, Varun Dubey.

"Being the largest mobility platform in the country, with maximum availability across categories, this partnership will be of immense help for our users to reach on time for their doctor's appointment. This is another step in our goal to help people live healthier, longer lives by simplifying healthcare access," added Varun Dubey.

The cutting edge technology of the Ola app has been integrated with heat maps, live traffic updates and other data to enable driver partners to take split second decisions about the shortest routes to help Practo customers make it on time to their appointments.
