    NPPA re-fixes price of Bactrafuz-M cream

    NPPA re-fixes price of Bactrafuz-M cream

    Through a recent corrigendum, NPPA had re-fixed the price of Fusidic Acid + Mometasone Furoate (Bactrafuz-M cream).


    Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that on 28th July, 2017, NPPA had fixed/revised ceiling prices/Retail Prices of 67 scheduled formulations of Schedule-I under Drugs (Price Control) Amendment Order,2016 under DPCO, 2013, exclusive of goods and services tax. Fusidic Acid + Mometasone Furoate (Bactrafuz-M cream) was among those 67 formulations whose price had been fixed at Rs 15.07 of 1 gm unit. The drug is currently manufactured by M/s Sirmour Remedies Pvt. Ltd. & M/s Lifestar Pharma Pvt. Ltd.

    However, through a recent corrigendum, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has made a correction and re-fixed the price of Fusidic Acid + Mometasone Furoate (Bactrafuz-M cream) at Rs 13.38 of 1 gm instead of Rs 15.07.
