Medical Council of India DMMP project goes to Bodhtree Consulting

Bodhtree Consulting has emerged victorious with the MCI's Digital Mission Mode project (DMMP), an e governance job worth Rs 43.62 crore to it. The project has been granted to it through the open tender process. The said order is for designing, procuring/developing, supplying, implementing, operating and maintaining MCI -DMMP solution for e governance purpose.

The aim behind MCI introducing this project is to wean off ghost medical faculty of colleges, by monitoring attendance through Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Cards. The other uses of the project being to bring about improvement in the complaint and grievance redress concerning doctors, and act as a repository of doctor certificates. Besides this, the digitisation project is also meant to serve the purpose of acting as an online channel for accessing all MCI's services.
