Lanxess India upgrade facilities in Nagda Civil Hospital
Nagda: The German speciality chemicals firm, Lanxes India has signed a three-year long contract with a civil hospital in the district as a part of its CSR initiative. In due course of the duration agreement, the firm will be upgrading the hospital's existing facilities and infrastructure , which will provide its healthcare facilitation with more advancement to patients nearby or living in the district.
The Chemicals business giant will be donating a state-of-the-art dialysis machine to the hospital, reported Business Standard.
Last year Lanxes India had donated a digital X-ray machine to the civil hospital under its CSR initiative as the organization identified a still existent gap in the medical facilities provided to the locals by the hospital through a channel of demands.
The company authorities planned the action aiming towards filling the gap as well as to lessen the dependability of the locals on medical establishments based in far-off cities like Ujjain & Indore. It was established that setting up of the dialysis machine in the Nagda Civil Hospital will ensure timely treatment at affordable costs for the local patients thereby, improving the quality of medical aid in the region.
“At Lanxess, we have always endeavored to contribute positively to the lives of the people in Nagda and would continue to do so. We have been constantly expanding our community outreach programmes and this is one such step towards improving the quality of life of the people in the area,” stated Neelanjan Banerjee, senior executive director, Lanxess India.
