Geistlich dental products to be available in India

New Delhi : Swiss medical products firm Geistlich Pharma AG said two of its globally patented products used for dental regeneration will now be available across India.

The products Geistlich Bio-Oss and Geistlich Bio-Gide are considered gold standards of the regenerative materials as they are the most studied and researched bio materials available across the globe.

"Geistlich Pharma AG uses its patented technology for providing dental regeneration bio materials in over 90 countries today," the company said in a statement on Sunday.

Geistlich Bio-Gide is a leading collagen membrane available in North America and is used in oral tissue regeneration, while Geistlich Bio-Oss is the the leading bio material available in regenerative dentistry.

"I genuinely feel that Indian medical eco-system is maturing and is increasingly receptive to best in class medical care," Geistlich Pharma AG CEO Paul Note said in a statement.

"Our products supplement the patient's complete dentistry-care requirements. In addition, we view India as a strategic fit for our business growth worldwide," Note added.
