Hyderabad: DocOnline, a virtual platform that provides access to medical consulting services, on Monday said it plans to roll out services in five more states in India and a few South East Asian countries by December 2018.

DocOnline also announced the launch of its digital healthcare services for the business to consumer (B2C) market in Hyderabad.

"In its first stage of operations, DocOnline services were launched in Hyderabad in August this year for corporate employees.

"Today DocOnline services have been launched for the B2C category where an individual can avail unlimited consultation services at an introductory price of Rs 700 per month that covers up to three family members," DocOnline CEO and Co-Founder Markus Moding told reporters here.

Markus said till date they have 15,000 paid corporate subscribers in Hyderabad and the company has also launched its services in Pune.

"We are going to launch (services) in more states and also going international. We are planning to launch the DocOnline services in five more states by the end of 2018 and also in a few South East Asian countries...we will serve both the corporates and individual customers," he said.

He, however, declined to name these states, saying research in this regard is going on.

"This company is funded by the owners...we plan to achieve breakeven by mid of next year," Markus added.

DocOnline allows a person to reach a doctor either through audio (calling), video or chat (app) and connects the patient at the general physician level to bring in preventive care, added DocOnline COO Rahul Paith.
