    Dabur India, Max Hospital concludes Dabur Chyawanprash Immune India School Challenge 2015

    Ghaziabad : Delhi Public School ranked as the Most Healthy & Immune School of Uttar Pradesh. The announcement marked the culmination of Immune India School Challenge 2015, a mega immunity awareness building drive by Dabur’s flagship health supplements brand Dabur Chyawanprash. Dabur Chyawanprash also released the list of India’s Most Healthy & Immune Schools, which was prepared following a six-month long joint health and hygiene check-up drive with Max Hospital. Delhi Public School was also ranked the Number 3 in the list of Most Healthy & Immune Schools in India.


    Delhi Public School, Lucknow, bagged the First Runner-Up prize in the list of Most Healthy & Immune Schools of Uttar Pradesh, while Mount Litera Zee School, Agra, was adjudged the Second Runner-Up. At the National Level, The Lexicon International School, Pune, was declared the Most Healthy & Immune School in the country, with Amity International School, Gurgaon, bagging the second place & Delhi Public School taking the third position in the national list.


    Through this initiative, Dabur Chyawanprash, along with Max Healthcare and GOONJ NGO, endeavored to institute the need for building immunity amongst school children and safeguard the health of the future generation. The challenge was designed to recognize the schools that exhibiting the highest standards of health, hygiene & cleanliness.


    Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Rajeev John, Marketing Head Health Supplements, Dabur India Ltd said: “The change of season brings with it a plethora of diseases which may be manifested more if immunity levels are low. Due to a decrease in temperature, infections become common, especially in children. A strong immune system helps protect our little ones from a host of diseases and recurring ailments. Dabur Chyawanprash, being one of the leading healthcare brands in the country, has taken up the responsibility to drive awareness on the need for building immunity, especially amongst children, the future of the country through the Immune India campaign.”


    Dabur Chyawanprash reached out to 3,627 schools across 30 cities (Delhi, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttrakhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana) and conducted over 1,700 immunity sessions to educate students about the need to build a stronger immune system to fight against changing season, common bacteria and viruses. Dabur felicitated the Top 50 schools and 2 Immuno-champs from each school on the basis of the parameters set by the Immune-meter. Dabur will Provide 3 Laptops to the winning school.


    Max, as the Health Partner, established the Immuno-meter parameters and operated BMI Health check-ups in the top 80 schools. The Parameters on which the schools were arbitrated are average attendance, school hygiene, Infrastructure & academic results. As part of this initiative, GOONJ conducted “Spread the Warmth” Initiative, a warm cloth collection drive that encouraging students to contribute warm clothes and help the underprivileged. The drive received an unprecedented response from the 20 mini cities & state capitals across 7 states, under which 10,000 Kg or 50,000 clothes were collected.
