    Credihealth adds 50 more hospitals to list
    Gurgaon: Credihealth, a startup health guidance company, based in Gurgaon has added 50 new hospitals, including Max Healthcare, Fortis Hospitals, Global Hospitals,Apollo Hospitals, Manipal Hospitals and Narayana Healthcare to its platform across India. The role played by credihealth involves letting users find appropriate doctors, book appointments, provide cost estimates and manage the admission and discharge processes.

    According to Medianama when the company re launched its health app in December 2015, it had 25,000 doctors across 450 hospitals for users in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Ranchi and Indore. It claimed that 50% of its patients were from Tier II & III cities and it offered doctor/hospital comparison, treatment packages and insurance consulting. The company expressed plans about expanding in other cities as well.

    Presently Credihealth operates in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kolkata, Howrah, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Indore and Ranchi and offers comparison and selection for heart, cancer, kidney and urinary system, brain, lung, liver and digestive system, bone and joints, blood, bone marrow transplant, pediatrics and skin specialists.

    Last year in September 2015, Credihealth managed to raise an undisclosed fund from twitter India's Director of Engineering, Mr. Rajat Malhotra and the Director in turn joined the startup’s team to scale up the use of technology.

    In December 2015, the company relaunched its health app which had over 25,000 doctors across 450 hospitals for users in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Ranchi and Indore. It had then announced that 50% of its patients were from Tier II & III cities and offered doctor/hospital comparison, treatment packages and insurance consulting. The company had plans to launch in other Indian cities then.

    According to the company the funds generated would be used for technological enhancements and expansion of the startup. Launched in early 2014, Credihealth claims to have served 50,000 patients in 2014 with over 7,000 doctors and over 450 hospitals.
