    CDSCO launches blood products module under SUGAM
    New Delhi: Through a recent notice Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Director General of Health Services, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization has launched a blood products module under SUGAM portal

    The notice states that The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) in pursuance to the implementation of e-Governance has launched an online portal 'SUGAM'.Various services rendered by CDSCO are being rolled out in phases.

    In the latest phase, a module for Blood products will be launched on 26.09.2018 and it is decided that from 26.09.2018 no physical application for Registration and import of blood products will be accepted.

    All the applications should be mandatorily filed through SUGAM portal. The stakeholders, who have not registered, first need to register on SUGAM to avail this facility. The process of registration is provided on the homepage of SUGAM.
