Bio Pharma Alliance struck between Zenith Technologies and GE Healthcare
Zenith Technologies and GE Healthcare Life Sciences have come together to help bio pharmaceutical manufacturers to increase productivity, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Announcing their collaboration the companies informed that the two would integrate process control systems, manufacturing execution system (MES) solutions and other supporting technologies with GE Healthcares start-to-finish technologies and solutions for the bio pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Jan Makela, General Manager at BioProcess, GE Healthcare said: "The development of our KU Bio modular manufacturing facilities and FlexFactory single-use manufacturing platform was fueled by the need for customers to deploy bio pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity more quickly and at a lower cost.
According to Bio.IT World, the two collaborators made clear that advanced technology platforms required automation expertise for which they would be partnering with a number of world class companies. They further clarified that with Zenith Technologies expertise in automation integration and customer support, their customers would have better choice.

Explaining the roles of GE and Zenith in improving services to bio pharmaceuticals manufacturers they elaborated saying GE's unprecedented solutions would help pharma customers to rapidly deploy capacity and reduce time to market.while Zenith's manufacturing software systems and on ground global support services would help Pharma manufacturers improve their processes and ultimately increase their competitiveness.
