Bal Pharma appoints S Anika Mercylin as CS, Compliance Officer

New Delhi: Drug major Bal Pharma recently appointed Ms S Anika Mercylin as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.

The company stated in a BSE filing, "as per the provisions of Section 203 of the Companies Act,2013, the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held has inter alia appointed Ms.S.Anika Mercylin (M.No A41933) as Company Secretary and Compliance officer of the Company."

Ms.S.Anika Mercylin, an ACS qualified has been appointed on terms as per the HR policy of the company.

Ms S Anika Mercylin has attended Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She possesses two years experience of Company Secretaryship.

The filing further added a disclosure," She is not related to any Directors or KMP's of the relationship with Directors & KMP's Company.

"As per the provisions of Regulation 30(5) of SEBI(LODR) Regulations, 2015, Ms.Anika Mercylin was also authorized by the Board for the purpose of determining the materiality of event or information and to disclose the same to the exchange within the specific period."
