    AstraZeneca donation of Rs 10 Lakh to CMDRF

    Thirvanthpuram: In the wake of recent floods witnessed by Kerala, employees of AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited has donated Rs 10 lakh for Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF).

    AstraZeneca India Business Head Manik Kaul handed over the cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Rajeev Sadanandan, Kerala Health Secretary, at the District Medical Officers Annual Conference 2018 held here.

    Speaking on the occasion, Smita Saha, Vice President, HR, AstraZeneca India, said, “As an organization that is committed to helping the communities that are impacted by natural disasters, we are much grateful to each one of our employees for helping us make this meaningful contribution to the impacted communities and colleagues.

    "With this step, our team is hoping to provide some relief to those who have lost almost everything in last month.

    The conference was attended by NHM Director Keshavendra Kumar and other Government officials including District Medical officers.
