    Application for Bulk Vaccine to be filed mandatorily through SUGAM: CDSCO
    It is now decided that no physical application for Bulk Vaccine will be accepted and all applications should be necessarily filed through SUGAM portal.

    New Delhi: Through a public notice dated 29.11.2018, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has announced that applications for all bulk vaccine should be necessarily filed on SUGAM portal.


    Drugs Controller General Dr S. Eswara Reddy informed that in the initiation of the execution of e-Governance it has launched an online portal on 14.11.2015 called SUGAM. SUGAM allows its users to file an application, submit, process and grant permission of registration, import license in a fast and reliable delivery of services. The review, submission and tracking have become simpler, efficient and transparent with the SUGAM system.


    Various services being rendered by CDSCO are being rolled out in phases. In the latest phase, the module for submission of an application for an import, manufacture for marketing of the Bulk Vaccine has been launched and the stakeholders are requested to avail this facility which is intended to further reduce the time and thereby the transaction cost, with immediate effect.


    It is now decided that no physical application for Bulk Vaccine will be accepted and all applications should be necessarily filed through SUGAM portal.
