Wockhardt gets Irish regulatory nod for certificate renewal
New Delhi : Drug firm Wockhardt said the Health Products Regulatory Authority of Ireland has given nod to the renewal of certificate for its Aurangabad facility.
"Health Products Regulatory Authority of Ireland has inspected our Shendra, Aurangabad facility and have recommended the renewal of certificate based on the general compliance with the principles and guidelines of good manufacturing practice," Wockhardt said in a filing to BSE.
HPRA's mandate is to protect and enhance public and animal health by regulating medicines, medical devices and other health products. It also monitors the safety of cosmetics.
Shares of Wockhardt closed flat at Rs 737.40 per scrip on BSE.
