Twitter had a field day when Biocon founder got stuck in a traffic jam

Bengaluru: Twitteratis flooded with their opinion on traffic after Biocon founder, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw's tweet wherein she expressed her perception over lane discipline on being stuck in heavy traffic. The Tweet by the Biotechnology leader over traffic rule enforcement in Bengaluru soon went viral. Many backed her opinion while many are left outraged.


Stuck in a traffic jam, Mz Shaw tweeted


The tweet suggested traffic police to “dent the bonnets of erring drivers with lathis” to enforce lane discipline and ensure removal of congestion.





Many backed her opinion, those who face similar issues while in traffic came forth with their outlook about developing a civic sense and embarking corrective measures by the authorities.

Shaw's suggestion was however not much appreciated by netizens. The tweet also faced a backlash from many.
