Telangana govt launches online drug licensing system
Hyderabad: The Telangana government initiated an online drug licencing system (ODLS), catering to manufacturers, dealers, and retailers.
State Health Minister C Laxma Reddy, who inaugurated the system here, said all permissions would be given online to manufacturers, wholesale businessmen and retailers.
The new online system not only saves time, but also puts an end to corruption and irregularities in giving licences and their renewals, a state government release quoted him as saying.
The online system has been developed as part of efforts to promote Ease of Doing Business, the minister added.
