Suven Life secures process patents for neuro-degenerative drug

HYDERABAD: Suven Life Sciences Ltd (Suven) announces that the grant of one process patent from Europe, one process patent from Japan and one process patent from New Zealand corresponding to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) which are for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases.


The patents are valid till 2034.


These process patents are for our pipeline compounds which are in the class of selective 5-HT6 compounds and are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington’s disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia.
