Stakeholders Invited: CDSCO calls another meeting to determine quantum of compensation for faulty implants

New Delhi: The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization(CDSCO) recently informed about the holding of the 8th meeting of Central Expert Committee on the issue of JnJ faulty implants to be held on 09.01.2019. The meeting will be held to determine the quantum of compensation in respect of faulty ASR Hip Implants manufactured by M/s DePuy International Ltd., U.K. and implanted in India.


The notice invited stakeholders, affected patients, their representatives to come and attend the meeting

"With respect to Office Order no. X.11035/25/2015-DFQC dated 30.08.2018 and F.No. X.11035/25/2015-DFQC dated 24.12.2018, it has been decided to hold eighth meeting of the Central Expert Committee chaired by Dr R.K. Arya, Director, Sports Injury Center, Safdarjung Hospital to give audience to the affected patients / their representatives/ any other stakeholders on 09.01.2019 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM at Conference Room, First Floor, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002."



CDSCO further notified the affected patients or their representatives or any other stakeholders and invite them for giving their audience before the Central Expert Committee and those who intend to attend the meeting are requested to send their confirmation along with name and contact details (Phone number and address) at legalcell @cdsco.nic.in by 04.01.2019 (Friday).
