Samsung to install high-end diagnostic machines in 3 Arunachal hospitals

Itanagar : Electronic giant Samsung Electronics as a partner with the Arunachal Pradesh government in its welfare activities is going to install high end X-Ray Machines and Ultrasound Digital Machines in three hospitals in the state as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities under health care and education programme.


Deputy General Manager (CSR) of the Samsung Electronics, Rebecca Oommen and its Client Service Director Deepika Kumar yesterday visited the Tomo Riba State Hospital (TRSH) at Naharlagun, near here, to take first hand information of the site for installation of the machines.


The duo also called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu and briefed him about their visit, an official communique said.


Khandu and representatives of Samsung Electronics had a meeting in New Delhi on July 25 last wherein the company had agreed to establish 'Samsung Digital Healthcare Centres' in the state under its CSR programme, the communique added.
