PMDA completes SMS Pharma manufacturing facility inspection

Hyderabad: SMS Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced a successful inspection by Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), Japan Authorities, for the manufacturing facility Unit-II, Bachupally, Hyderabad, Telangana during the period 25th July 2017 - 27th July 2017.

The inspection was focussed on general good manufacturing practice of the site. The inspection has been concluded with no critical/major observations.

SMS Pharmaceuticals is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and their intermediates. The company offers a range of anti-ulcer, anti-fungal, anti-migraine, anti-hypertension.

It also offers a range of erectile dysfunction, anti-cancer, antiviral and pulmonary arterial hypertension intermediate products.
