Coronavirus: CDSCO issues guidelines to be followed while visiting CDSCO office.

Delhi: Recently Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Directorate General of Health Services has issued a notice regarding the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 ,while visiting CDSCO offices.

The confirmation for the same was made by Dr. V. G. Somani, Drugs Controller General (India) to all the All Stakeholders through the CDSCO web site.

Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued OM No. 11013/9/2014­ Estt.A.III dt. 17.03.2020 in order to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). On reviewing the said OM, considering the safety and welfare of all the visitors, delegates, officers, staff and also considering that various delegates visit CDSCO HQ, Zonal & sub­-Zonal offices for resolution of their queries related to various permissions issued by CDSCO.  following measures are suggested,

1. The Visitors are advised to avoid large gathering of delegation at CDSCO HO, zonal & Sub-zonal offices.

2. Visitors are encouraged to prefer toll-free numbers and emails to get a resolution of their problems.

3. Visitors and staff of CDSCO attending them at Public Relations Office are encouraged for hygienic practice, hand sanitization and use of masks wherever necessary.

4. Dos & Donts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be at display at prominent places in CDSCO to make visitors and staff aware of risk and precautions.

All the stakeholders are advised to diligently adhere to hygienic practices and collaborate towards making this fight against Corona-virus a success.
