Paras Healthcare appoints Devendra Kumar Punia as Corporate Head - IT

New Delhi: Healthcare services provider Paras Healthcare appoints senior technology expert Dr. Devendra Kumar Punia as its Corporate Head - IT. The Group is investing effectively in ICT resources and data analytics to improve its services and healthcare delivery.

Gurgaon based Punia has over 22 years of experience in the areas of enterprise systems, E-Governance and knowledge management. In this new role, he will be reporting to Dr. Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Healthcare and deliver his expertise in leading several healthcare delivery & data analytics projects aligned with the business growth.

"I have witnessed the evolution of IT in my career span of 2 decades. Today data analytics & and big data are among the bandwagon of those technologies which are fuelling the needs of various industries including healthcare. In this new journey as Head- IT in Paras healthcare group, my strengths and responsibilities will rely on leveraging more data resources to deliver successful technology-enabled business outcome" Dr. Punia said.

Prior to this, Punia has worked with JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur as Professor, Computer Science & Chairman – Corporate Training & Consulting; and University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun as HOD, Department of Information System. He has also worked with Wipro consulting E-Governance projects.
