Online Pharmacy, Myra Medicines receives funds from Matrix Partners and Times Internet

Bengaluru: Myra Medicines, a Bengaluru based startup e-pharma company is learnt to have raised about 7-8 million dollars from Matrix Partners and Times Internet as per recent reports of TOI.


Bengaluru based Myra Medicines delivers medicines in HRBR layout, Ulsoor, Cooke Town, Cox Town, Jaymahal and Benson Town. At present, the startup is able to achieve 200 deliveries a day. The order size ranges between Rs 600 and 1200.


Myra Medicines works with 40 distributors across the country and it verifies all licences before dealing with the distributors.


It is reported that Myra Medicines will use this investment money to expand their business by entering in the new metro cities. Talking about the company's future plans, Faizan Aziz, founder and CEO, Myra told TOI, "We are looking to start operations in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune, while we deepen our network within Bengaluru."


"Myra takes a high frequency use case and makes it super easy for users to access a pharmacy digitally," said Miten Sampat, VP-corporate development, Times Internet.


Myra Medicines was founded by Faizan and Anirudh S Coontoor April 2015.
