Odisha Pharma industry faces flak

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s pharmaceuticals industry is darkening due to 58 pharmaceutical companies in the state being black listed. The State Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak announced this in the State Assembly today. He said that the State Government was blacklisting these 58 pharmaceutical companies for supplying sub-standard medicines since 2005.


In response to BJP legislator, Dilip Ray’s question Nayak said, 133 kinds of medicines supplied to the Government hospitals by 168 companies had been found sub standard during the period reported Orissadiary.com .
