Now only online application for New Drugs, FDC and SND: CDSCO tells Pharma Cos

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has requested to avail the new module launched SUGAM portal.


The notice states that in the latest phase, a module for New Drugs, FDC and SND has been launched on 27.04.2018 and the stakeholders are requested to avail this facility which is intended to further reduce the time and thereby the transaction cost.


The government has decided that no physical application for New Drugs, FDC and SND will be accepted from 22.06.2018, and all applications should be mandatorily filed on the SUGAM portal.


The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) in pursuance to the implementation of e-Governance has launched an online portal 'SUGAM' (www.cdscoonline.gov.in) on 14.11.2015. Various services rendered by CDSCO are being rolled out in phases.
