Online Pharmacy Netmeds to start 10 new Physical stores in Chennai

BENGALURU: Netmeds, an online pharmacy based in Chennai is going to open 10 physical stores in Chennai. It is reported that after the successful establishment of these 10 stores in Chennai, the company will expand its physical store services in other cities across the country.

Netmeds provides online ordering and mail delivery of prescription and non-prescription medications.

In 2015, the Pradeep Dadha Group of Companies,established Netmeds.com. MAPE Advisory Group, a financial services firm, and Orbimed, a private equity firm, have invested in the privately owned pharmacy.

The physical stores will operate under the same brand name. Netmeds will invest around Rs 15 lakhs-Rs 20 lakhs to set up the physical stores, which will be located in the high demand markets of Chennai, reports ET
