New Delhi: After successfully bringing multi super specialty healthcare services to the millions living in Uttar Pradesh, Nayati Healthcare announces the acquisition of majority stake in PrimaMed Super Speciality Hospitals, the soon to be launched 600 beds in Gurugram and VimhansPrimaMed, a 75-bed hospital in South Delhi.

The move is in line with Nayati Healthcare’s growth strategy and its vision of taking quality healthcare closer to the masses. Nayati presently operates Nayati Medicity in Mathura and Nayati Hospital in Agra and is expanding the world-class healthcare facilities further to Amritsar, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Nagpur.

Niira Radia, Chairperson & Promoter, Nayati Healthcare said “The addition of PrimaMed will help us consolidate our position in North India and act as a strategic center for the group. The acquisition of majority stake of these two hospitals in Gurugram and Delhi will help optimize clinical and service excellence.

Gurugram & Delhi will work as the strategic hub for talent mobilization, knowledge sharing and also act as the center for our growing international patient cache whilst not taking away the focus from our core of taking treatment to the masses. Nayati pioneers the concept of taking world class super specialty medical care closer to real India, where 70 percent of our population lives. We strongly believe that quality healthcare is a basic right to dignity.

Beginning our journey from Mathura & Agra has helped us learn the challenges in the delivery of affordable, accessible and accountable healthcare to the masses. Without such a commitment we couldn't have contributed to the larger need of healthcare development in India.

The prevalent disease burden in these areas is unique and at variance to those typically witnessed in the urban centres, we expect the teams between the centres to collaborate in multidisciplinary ways so as to translate scientific advances more swiftly into new ways of diagnosing and treating patients and preventing diseases. “

Rajesh Chaturvedi, Co-Promoter Nayati Healthcare stated,”We are confident that the new hospitals will enhance our ability to meet the medical needs in all our group hospitals and provide a network of seamless patient care and world-class medical treatment as we grow our business significantly in the next few years taking our total bed inventory to 2200 by FY 2021. We will consolidate our position in

Uttar Pradesh, on one hand we will increase the capacity of the Mathura facility from 351 to 775 so as to make it the largest super specialty in Western Uttar Pradesh and on the other hand will soon be developing a 550 beds tertiary care centre in Varanasi to cater to the Eastern Uttar Pradesh. In addition, we will have a 500 beded quaternary care facility in Amritsar, Punjab.”

Dr Rajiv K Sharma, Founder PrimaMed and now Vice Chairman, Nayati PrimaMed Hospitals said “We are excited to have joined hands with the Nayati Healthcare. Nayati has done commendable work in taking treatment to the smaller towns and cities, a boundary which no one has crossed so well till now. I am glad and satisfied that our goals match. The new association will give us access to newer markets taking boon of medical science to communities which need it the most within the country as well as international medical tourism. Good healthcare should be sans boundaries and seamless across the world and we will aim to achieve that.”
