Mankind Pharma gives Rs 1 crore for Kerala help

New Delhi: Mankind Pharma, a quality-driven pharmaceutical company in India, has donated Rs 1 crore towards Kerala's Flood Relief Fund.


The company said besides the donation, it would also distribute medicines in the flood-affected states.


The pharma group in a statement here on Friday said that the initiative was a step toward providing a healthy living to people affected by the devastation.


Group CEO Rajeev Juneja said, "We are a pharma company and have always supported such catastrophic incidents. We too stand in solidarity with the affected community and are committed in our support to rehabilitate and rebuild Kerala. In addition to the Rs 1 crore that we have donated to the cause we have also given medicines, we are committed to contribute in every possible way for the restoration of the devastated infrastructure and helping rebuild lives of the affected people."
