Fitso, Fitness Mobile App gets 2 lakh dollars in angel funding

Fitso, a fitness mobile app has recently received about 200,000 dollars in angel funding. Sujeet Kumar (former Operations President, Flipkart), Bhupinder (CEO, Intelenet) and Yashish Dahiya (CEO, PolicyBazaar) have collectively given this 200,000 dollars to Fitso.


Fitso, fitness mobile app founded by IIT Delhi alumni Saurabh Aggarwal, Naman Sharma and Rahool Sureka dedicated to make their customer fit and healthy. It is an accessible and affordable app for people who can workout anytime and anywhere by eliminating the need for a gym membership or expensive equipment.


It is reported that the Fitso will use the funding for further expenditure on products development, expanding its team and a more user-friendly app. Apart from its online business the company is also planning to start online fitness or running, swimming and triathlon in Delhi-NCR and build a team of coaches for personal training.


Speaking with BusinessLine, Rahool Sureka, co-founder, Fitso said, “Fitso has become a brand name in health and fitness market in less than six months. We have broken even, and are hitting the route of profitability, providing personal fitness and nutrition training to users across India."
