DoP invites nominations for 5th India Pharma and Medical Device Awards
New Delhi: The Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) has decided to confer 5th India Pharma/Medical Device Awards during India Pharma 2020 & India Medical Device 2020.
In this regard, DoP has invited nominations for the various categories. The last date for receipt of nominations is 20th November 2019. No nomination will be accepted after the last date.
Nominees can send separate nominations for each category along with supporting documents to N. K Joshi, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Tel: 23383392, Email:- navin.26@nic.in.
The categories under which the awards will be granted are;
Criteria/Indicators for India Pharma and India Medical Device Awards
1. India Pharma Leader Award

2. India Pharma Bulk Drug Company of the Year Award

Category 6- India Pharma Swachhta Champion Award
The award would be open to all Pharma Industry, traders, Medical Devices Industry and their Associations in both rural & urban areas.

The DoP release further added;
- Comparisons would be made based on audited results of the Financial Year 2018-19 and previous years
- Unaudited results would not be considered for evaluation
- No company would be conferred the Award in 2 categories in the same year. In case such a situation arises, the award appearing first in the list of the Awards would be conferred and the second award would be given to the applicant with the next highest marks.
- The same category of the award would not be conferred to the same company for 2 years in succession.
