Credihealth receives Rs 10 Crore in Pre-series A Funding

Credihealth, a online medical assistance providing company has raised 1.5 million dollars (Rs 10 crore approx) in a pre-Series A funding round from Tolaram group and Mountain Pine Capital.


Credihealth is a medical assistance company that gives guidance to a patient from the first consultation through the entire hospitalization process.


A Gurgram based startup company, started in January 2017 is now active in Delhi NCR, Mumbai Region, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai. It is a venture of Ravi Virmani, Gaurav Gaggar, Saurabh Uboweja, and Hausela Capital Partners.


Bala Swaminathan, a former KPMG partner and one of the earliest investors in the platform, has also invested in this round.


It is reported that the company will use the investment money to expand its operations in other metro citites to address the non-clinical pain points of patients.


Ravi Virmani, founder and managing director of Credihealth told VCCircle, “More than money, it is innovation and steady growth that are needed to survive in the market today."


"The funding will primarily be utilised to augment technology and infrastructure to expand services and introduce new products," he added


Currently, the company claims to be receiving more than 10,000 requests for tertiary care every month. The company plans to launch in 15 major cities across the nation this year and eventually aims to cover the entire Indian geography. Over 30,000 people are registered on its website.


Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that Credihealth introduced its 24-hour online ambulance booking service in Gurugram.
