CDSCO launches Video Conferencing facility for promoting Pharmaceuticals Startups

New Delhi: Through a recent notice Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), Directorate General of Health Service of DCG(1) has informed about Video Conferencing for the promotion of innovation & start-up business in the Pharmaceutical sector.
CDSCO informed that Entrepreneurship, Start-up Policies and innovation play a vital role in the economic and social development of a nation. To realise the overall potential in providing access to quality and affordable medicine, it is necessary to handhold the innovators and start-up ecosystem.
Accordingly, a Video Conferencing facility was launched on 20.07.2018 for stakeholders to have direct access with Dr. S. Eswara Reddy, Drugs Controller General (India).
This facility provides an opportunity to directly interact with DCG(I) and obtain guidance on regulatory pathways. Keeping the above initiative in view, all the stakeholders are once again informed to utilise this Video Conference facility by taking appointment along with details of the proposal in prescribed format at startupinnov@cdsco.nic.in.
